Review - Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream ~ ♡

Hello there Honeypies!
(⌒▽⌒)☆
I've been really busy with getting into my new job the last few weeks but now- no more excuses! I finally have time to write my first (proper) Review of a product i've been loving ever since the first time i tried it!
I am going to talk about the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in No. 21!

I remember back in 2012 there was a big hype about this "new" thing called BB Cream ( = blemish balm ) and because at that time i was already interested in Korean cosmetics i chose to get one of those "magical wonder creams". So i searched online and decided to get this baby right here. By now i've been using this BB Cream regulary for nearly 2 years and i am still really satisfied with it!

But before i get any further into the product let me mention: My skintype is a combination of oily and dry. Dry especially around my nose and forehead and oily at the outer sides of my face.
Well enough blah blah- let's get on to the review!

I ordered the Missha Perfect Cover at amazon for around 10,99€ and it's usually shipped within 5-10 days.

Packaging: Honestly, i'm a sucker for packaging (which is not really a good thing lol) and i must say- i love the packaging of this BB Cream- especially because unlike other BB Creams in that price range this one has a pump- which is really handy! Plus it just looks really elegant because of the combination of red and gold, don't you think?

Color: Before i ordered for the first time, i searched for pictures and swatches online in the hopes of finding the right shade- and i was lucky! I decided to get No. 21 Light beige and tadaa~ it matches my skintone really well!
After first applying to the skin you'll notice that this BB Cream has a greyish undertone, but don't worry! After it is set completely the greyish undertone fades and it adjusts perfectly to your skintone.

Scent: This product has a parfume like scent which not everyone may like. I personally love it (and my sister as well, and she is actually really picky when it comes to that). But just like the greyish undertone i mentioned, the scent fades short time after application.

Coverage:  I'd say it has a light to medium coverage- i wouldn't recommend it if you have problems with acne though because this BB Cream is definitely not covering well enough and from my experience it's not really buildable!

Texture: It has a really light and creamy, yet refreshing texture, feels really good on the skin and it's easy to apply with your hands.

Ingredients: Like you can see above, there are many ingredients, which i won't mention any further because i am not really aware of the advantages and disadvantages of each one of them- but for all of you that like to know what's in it- here's the list! (click picture to zoom!).

Moisture: Generally it keeps my skin hydrated during the whole day- even after 9 hours of working i could really look worse (lol). During wintertime i always need to apply some moisturizer before i apply the BB Cream, because in winter my skin tends to get extremly dry and the BB Cream alone can't fix that.

Wearability: Because this BB Cream has an SPF of 42 and PA ++ it is perfect for protecting your skin in summer, but at the same time it might make you appeal paler than usual- at least on photos! So keep in mind that on photos taken with flash- you might look a little like a ghost D:

Rating:
Résumé:
• Especially for the spring and summertime this BB Cream is a must have! On those days where you just want to enhance your skin and look natural, without making it look like a full make-up mask the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream is the right choice
• It really covers redness and blemishes, but for bigger spots you may need a concealer
• Although i use this product on a daily basis it lasts me up to 6 monts (!!!) so a little goes a long way with this one!
• The SPF and PA++ protects your skin from sunlight
• not recommended when taking photos with flash -> better use normal foundation instead!
• doesn't cake even after a few hours, but for extra long stay i recommend using a primer!
• All in all a great product for a really good price- but it might not be suitable for extremely oily nor extremely dry skin or skin that tends to acne because it just doesn't cover well enough!

The beautiful South of Spain ~ ♡

Hello everyone!
I was going trough my camera and noticed, that i still had the pictures of my vacation in September on it. I visited my family in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, because my parents including my little brother have been living there since last year.
So i thought, why not show these pictures to you guys to maybe give you a little of that summer-feeling back?

Jerez de la Frontera is located in the very south of Spain, in the province Cadíz, Andalucía. Unlike in Madrid or Barcelona, the weather in Jerez is warm and sunny almost the whole year! Many people there have never seen snow before, because the winters tend to be just very humid and rainy- but still with up to 22°C in December!

One of the most popular symbols of Andalucía are the andalucían horses, known by people all over the world. Andalucían horses are strongly connected to one of the most beautiful arts in Spain- the so called Flamenco.

This time was actually the first time ever that the weather wasn't as good as it usually is. I mean it was still up to 27°C in mid September, but it rained a lot.
Fortunately, only a few times a day and only for a short period of time.

The following are some pictures of the centre of Jerez

The community hall of Jerez

Here's a so called patio behind the community hall of Jerez

Super cute little flamenca-figures at a small store

And lastly a picture of the beautiful sky over Jerez just before the sunset.

I hope you all like the pictures i took during my stay in Spain! Sorry for the huge amount of photos though, i made around 350 and couldn't decide which ones to show you. ( ̄д ̄;)
I also went to a popular tourist place called Chipiona, as well as to a big amusement park in Sevilla so maybe i'll post pictures of that later on.

Have a great day everyone! (⌒▽⌒)☆

Thought of the week ~ ♡

In this post, i want to talk about something a little different than usual.
Despite of all the beautiful colors autumn shows us, I think these days it's easy to feel a little melancholic and depressed, right?
The weather gets colder, days get shorter and the clothes thicker.
The people seem to get even more distant.

In case you feel down right now, i just want you to remember one thing-
You choose your happiness!

Guys, it's true!
It's ok to feel down sometimes and let's be honest life can really be a B.. baka! ( haha )
But it is up to you whether you let yourself down or you get up and try again and this time even harder!
So if you are having a bad day, i just want you to follow one of these easy steps!

#1. Get some Food!

Doesn't matter if junk or sweets!
Just treat yourself from time to time, and believe me after a few pieces of your favorite chocolate, a cup of your favorite tea, or a slice of that perfect looking pizza, you'll feel a LOT better!

#2. Watch an episode of your favorite series!..

..or even the whole season if you feel like it!
Try to distract yourself with things that make you happy.
Laugh, get mad or even cry with the characters from your favorite Tv-show and make sure to cuddle yourself under a comfy and warm blanket that you might even spray some of your favorite perfume on! ( highly recommended

#3. Grab your friend and get some Coffee!

Sometimes nothing is better than sharing one's thoughts with your bestie. You'll feel a lot better if you just talk about what's on your mind and i am sure your friend will have some words of encouragement for you.

#4. Write things down

Another way to free your mind is to write things down. Write about what made you sad, mad or better- try to remember at least 5 things you are blessed with! For me that's sometimes just the little things like the scent of my favorite tea, a phonecall from a good friend or having lunch with my sister!

#5. If nothing helps - just cry it out!

Yeah, let's be honest: some days, maybe even without a specific reason, we just feel like crying. If so, then just do it! You'll feel relieved after a good cry. But just don't cry over the same thing over and over again..
Remember- if things bring you down, try to change them- if you can't- change your attitude!

And no matter what happens, just keep in mind:

So lift that beautiful head of yours up and show your gorgeous smile!
